This Dubai Chocolate Bars homemade version of the viral Dubai Chocolate Bar . It is an easy-to-make recipe with 4 main ingredients and chocolate molds. The result is a crunchy sweet and unique chocolate bar!
Ingredients
- 6.7 oz pistachio nut butter (1 small jar)
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 3 cups Kataifi phyllo dough (cut into short segments)
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 16 oz Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers (1 bag)
- 50 g pistachio , chopped
- silicon mold, (I used snowflakes mold)
Instructions
- Weigh out and cut up shredded phyllo dough (kataifi).
2.Preheat a large skillet on medium heat and melt 4 tablespoon of butter, then add the kataifi dough and coat in butter.
4 tablespoon might seem like a lot of butter initially but it’s important to coat all the pastry dough in butter so that it crisps up.
3.Pour crispy kataifi into a bowl, add the pistachio cream ,pistachios and tahini.
4.Stir the filling together and set aside while you prep the chocolate.
5.In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate (you could do this in batches, if you’re more comfortable melting chocolate in smaller quantities) and microwave in 30 second increments until melted, making sure to stir between increments.
6. Using a tablespoon, pour chocolate into each mold. brush chocolate al over inside of mold
- Once you’re satisfied, fill the cups with a tablespoon of chocolate each, or more if you have any leftover and it looks like it needs more chocolate. Chill for 30 minutes, then enjoy!
