Golden potato and mushroom wreaths baked to crispy perfection, adorned with fresh thyme ideal for holiday appetizer
Ingredients:
- 3 medium golden potatoes, thinly sliced
- 6 mushrooms , sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the potato slices: Toss the potato slices in olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the wreaths: On a parchment-lined baking sheet, overlap potato slices in circular wreath shapes. Press gently to ensure they stick together.
- Bake the wreaths: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy around the edges.
- Add 1 tbsp olive oil in heated skillet and fry mushroom slices 1 minutes on each side
- Once potatoes baked, transfer the wreaths to a serving platter, top them with mushroom slices and garnish with additional fresh herbs for a festive touch. Serve with dip of your choice
