Need a simple and delicious idea for a warm weather appetizer, these Prosciutto Melon appetizers are for you. The melon complements the savory flavor from the prosciutto perfectly for a refreshing summertime bite. Mix and match with your favorite melons to make a quick snack .
Ingredients
- 4 oz Prosciutto slices
- 1 /2 honeydew melon
- 1 lb cantaloupe
- Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Slice cantaloupe melon and honeydew melon inti 1/3 inch thick slices. Use a small square cookie cutter to cut the square
2.Stack alternated melon squares. It looks pretty when some are topped with honeydew and some are topped with cantaloupe.
3.Use kitchen scissors or knife to cut a piece of prosciutto that’s about 5 inches long, and ½ an inch thick.. Carefully roll prosciutto slice into a pretty rose.
4.Place prosciutto roses on top of stacked melons and place mint leave beside a prosciutto rose on top.
